Description Of Work: Price includes: Demo existing 10’x10′ deck, pour (8) 4′ deep footings
(some concrete removal-old illegal footings), install a larger 15’x21′
PT/composite deck off of second level, then finally pour a landing for
stairs.
Member Comments: After many estimates both high and low the wife and I chose Durable
Remodeling almost immediately after getting the estimate (after checking
references and reviews). Dean and his crew were top notch in providing
us with a deck that had dimensions I specified. The deck is 21′ long by
15′ deep. He addressed my issue with structural sturdiness. I wanted to
make sure the deck could hold the weight of numerous guests as the old
one was sketchy holding just four adults. The deck he and his crew built
will last a 100 years and could hold 25 adults without so much as a
creak. The support structure is awesome. Go big or go home!
The wife and I were so impressed with the quality and speed at which
this was built, that we ended up hiring him to demo the old concrete
that was under the former deck and installing lattice enclosures for
underneath (deck comes off second story of a split level). This they
managed to pull off in a day. At the end of the day, each day they were
here, the site was cleaned up (as best could be during construction) and
at the end of each job it looked as if they had never been (except for a
giant deck!)
If there are any projects in the future that are beyond my ability, I am
definitely calling Durable Remodeling to make sure i get what I want at
